Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Graze ("we", "us"), operated by Edward Tran in Sydney, Australia. By using the Graze app or website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Graze. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using Graze you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.
2. Your account
To save decks across devices you can sign in via Clerk using a third-party identity provider or email. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@trygraze.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted material you do not own or have a licence to study from.
- Upload content depicting child sexual abuse material, content that incites violence, or content otherwise unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours (Australia).
- Upload content containing the personal data of others without their consent.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or overload the Service, including the underlying AI providers.
- Use the Service to generate content for purposes that are deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful to other people.
- Resell or redistribute Graze-generated content as your own product without permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, and process your uploaded content for the sole purpose of running the Service for you (parsing, generating cards, storing decks, displaying them back to you). This licence ends when you delete the relevant deck or your account. We do not use your uploaded content to train any AI model.
5. AI-generated content
Cards generated by Graze are produced by third-party AI models (LlamaParse, Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic) acting on your input. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for verifying anything important — Graze is a study aid, not a source of truth, and must not be used in lieu of professional advice (medical, legal, financial, academic, etc.).
6. Service availability
We try to keep Graze available, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Some features depend on third-party providers (Clerk, Supabase, Vercel, LlamaParse, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, PostHog) and may be unavailable when those providers are unavailable.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graze disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Graze is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or study progress, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable consumer protection laws.
8. Termination
You may stop using Graze at any time and may delete your account from Settings → Delete account. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or if continuing to operate the account creates legal or security risk for us or other users.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, except where you have non-excludable rights to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
